SHOWS
The Beatles “Love” by Cirque Closing

The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil is set to close its curtains on July 7, marking the end of an era at The Mirage in Las Vegas. This iconic show, which celebrated its 18th anniversary this year, was born from a unique partnership between Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté and George Harrison.

  • Ran for 18 long years, the longest of any Cirque du Soleil show

  • 11.5 million guests have seen the show since its opening in 2006

The closing of The Beatles LOVE coincides with The Mirage's transformation into the Hard Rock Las Vegas, marking a significant shift in the resort's entertainment offerings.

And, I have to admit I’m a little salty about the whole thing…

People obviously loved the longest-running Cirque show in Vegas. And, I love the Volcano, and who really wants a giant guitar in its place?! So, I’m a little mad at the new Hard Rock for closing our beloved Vegas icons. 😡

But enough of my sniveling…

Let’s celebrate this great show, and if you want to catch it before it leaves for good in July, book your tickets here.

HOTEL
Is the Food & Beverage Credit Worth It?

Before you gobble up those tempting food and beverage credits, chew on this:

  • Hotels will hike your room rate by 27% on average for a measly credit

  • You can't use the credit on your checkout day.

  • Some hotels demand a minimum stay and ban Saturday check-ins.

  • Your favorite restaurant might be excluded from the credit.
    Bon appétit... not!

Read our latest article, "Should I Book a Vegas Hotel with the Food & Beverage Credit?" to find out when these credits are actually worth the hassle. Your wallet will thank you!

RESTAURANTS
Last Call: Margaritaville’s 20 Year Run Ends

After gracing the Las Vegas Strip for over two decades, Margaritaville, the iconic restaurant inspired by Jimmy Buffett, is set to close its doors. Since its opening in 2003, the three-story, 30,000+ square feet restaurant has been a great place to get a $9 margarita and people watch.

You have until Monday, April 15 to say your final goodbyes to this beloved Vegas landmark.
