Formula 1 is adding a few bonuses to their Vegas race in November to try to bring in the crowds. Will it be enough?

Sphere Dials it Down a Few Decibels

The Sphere agreed to turn it down after complaints from nearby residents about noise disturbances. Since opening with a U2 concert series, the venue's music and sound effects were heard late into the night in surrounding neighborhoods.

But, the Sphere’s Exosphere (outside) audio system was on full display during the July 4 event. In response, The Sphere has agreed to cap outdoor event sound levels at 85 decibels.

This seems to be a compromise the whole neighborhood can agree to.

Shania Twain announced her last 9 shows in Las Vegas for January and February 2025, covering Super Bowl weekend. These shows go on sale on Saturday at 10am.

F1 Adds Ferrari Challenge & Ice Skating Rink

With the Ferrari Challenge series joining the lineup, ticket holders will now catch two thrilling racing events tearing down the legendary Las Vegas Strip during the Grand Prix weekend.

To enhance the upscale Paddock Club ticket starting at $15K a pop, F1 is adding a 2,600 sq ft ice skating rink on the roof of the pit building during Grand Prix weekend. The rink will be surrounded by lounge chairs where drinks and snacks will be served.

Seems like the folks at F1 are trying to make this a fun environment for the whole family.

Giddy Up Music Festival Cancelled

The Giddyup Music Festival was abruptly canceled last week. The first year country music festival that was supposed to feature Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chase Rice, Megan Moroney, Josh Turner, and many others.
