Block Party Replaces Life is Beautiful

There’s a new, shorter, and smaller version of the Life is Beautiful festival downtown with two stages across only 2 days. And it promises not to have overlapping sets.

But, we have to say the lineup isn’t well-known performers like the previous powerhouse lineups of years past. Do any of these names ring a bell?

SPHERE

Sphere Has a 1st Anniversary July 4 Show

The July 4th holiday is the 1st birthday for the Sphere, and they are planning an epic celebration on their exosphere (outside display).

If you’re not in Las Vegas during the holiday, you can watch the display on the XO Stream online here.

UFC at the Sphere is the First Sports Event

UFC 306, rebranded as Riyadh Season Noche UFC, will take place on September 14, 2024, at the Sphere in Las Vegas. This event, aligned with Mexican Independence Day, marks the first sports event at the Sphere, featuring advanced immersive technology.

The Eagles added another 4 shows in December due to overwhelming interest in the show. New shows will go on sale on July 12 for December 6, 7, 13, & 14.

Shin Lim Finds a Home at Venetian

Since the closure of Mirage is imminent, Shin Lim had to find a new home for his Limitless show - and he has, at the Venetian’s newly renovated Palazzo Theater.

The all-new show he’s working on opens in October 2024, and tickets go on sale on July 15. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more details.

Free Strip Tram Closes For Good

The free tram between Mirage and Treasure Island has officially closed. It was a 90-second tram ride between the two hotels, but as the Mirage transitions to Hard Rock, the tram has stopped operation.

The tram was opened in 1993 and traveled 1,000 feet and took 90 seconds. It was one of the last few free modes of transportation on the Strip, besides the Shoe Leather Express 👞, of course!
