Mirage Will Close on July 17 For Hard Rock Rebrand

After 34 years on the Strip, the Mirage Hotel will close on July 17 to allow for a complete overhaul and rebrand of the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel.

So what will become of the beloved volcano, one of the first Strip side free shows? Replaced by a giant 700-ft tall Guitar Hotel.

The reopening of Hard Rock is targeted for the spring of 2027.

Sammy’s Island Grand Opening Party at Palms

Sammy's Island at the Palms Resort offers a unique experience inspired by the rock star lifestyle of Sammy Hagar. The stars aligned in Vegas last Friday when a Connecticut card shark hit the ultimate jackpot at The Venetian. With a royal flush in spades on a Three Card Poker game, this lucky player turned a $5 side bet into a jaw-dropping $1.9 million!

Two Venetian $1Million+ Slots Winners

Two lucky guests hit jackpots totaling over $1 million, turning the casino into a real-life treasure island. On Monday, one guest's Dragon Link machine spun their way to $1,037,828 from a $25 bet.

Not to be outdone, another gambler followed up on Tuesday with a cool $1,635,693 win on a Wheel of Fortune machine with only a $10 bet. Seems like Lady Luck decided to camp out at The Venetian this week!

Holsteins, a Strip staple since 2010, will serve its final burger on July 9. But don’t despair, burger buffs! The masterminds behind Holsteins are already cooking up their next big thing, with details set to drop in the coming months.
